Malamahonua ceromony

Today in the morning our school and all the other Manaiakalani Schools went to the Pt England reserve. Did you know it was the Hokulea that came in the morning so  we went over to them and 2,000 kids from all the  Manaiakalani schools had to welcome them to Pt England by singing a chant. Did you know that The Hokulea came from hawaii So they traveled 40,000 miles That has been a long way. After we sang the chant 8 times and then they said some speeches and we sang some maori songs. And then they had more speeches after our Waiatas. The last thing we did was shake hands and said welcome.

Mubashshir and Danielle - What's in the bag.

My friend  and  I were learning about probability. We had used an envelope and six coloured blocks. After we had put the blocks in the bag  we went around the class room to let kids pick out one block each. As Danielle and I had finished going around the class room to eight people we had a guess how many coloured blocks there were adding up to six. We made a presentation about what is in the bag.

Hope you enjoy!
