D.O.L : Hello bloggers today I have done a presentation about water worries. Looking after our earth and not wasting water. While we have a limited supply of water others around the world are suffering. So looking after our planet and our waterways is really important. Enjoy.

Letter to council : 

Hello Council I think you guys should give some water to the poor and lower the limits of water we get because 50% of it gets wasted, Nobody can afford so much water. Water is a huge part earth everything on earth.

As I said Water is a huge part earth everything on earth. Plants, trees, animals, infact the whole world is need of water. DOC Department of conservation has said so much water are in need for animals who are really in need.

Poor people around the world like Africa, Palestine, Yemen and Vanuatu. People are really in need of water people waste about 3.5 litres a month. Take a stand for the the poor for the limited amount of water. Almost 1.5 billion people drink dirty water.

Fill out the following table to help you explain the Growing in the dark: Plants and light experiment

Aim - what are you trying to find out?	Do plants need light to grow.
Hypothesis - what do you think your results will be?	I think the one with light will grow better.
Independent Variable - what variable will you change?	The plant without light is a independent variable. But however the one with light has no change.
Dependent Variable - what variable will you measure?	The height of the plant will be measured at the end of the change.
Controlled Variable - what variables will you keep the same?	All the controlled variables are the same. Six seeds, fertilizer, pots,  water, plant sprayer and soil.

The students of Room 4 wanted to find out what colour of bird feeders birds preferred. FIll our the table below thinking of which variables you would make independent, dependent and controlled.

Aim - what are you trying to find out?	What bird feeders birds preferred
Hypothesis - what do you think your results will be?	I think they will prefer the colour green.
Independent Variable - what variable will you change?	I will change the color and put on feeder of each colour.
Dependent Variable - what variable will you measure?	I will measure how much of each color the birds ate after they are full.
Controlled Variable - what variables will you keep the same?	I think i will keep everything the same like the, flavour, spots, and birds.
