Film Festival 2017

The Film Festival is annual festival where all the digital schools and classes get together and make a 3 minute movie
The Manaiakalani film festival is just around the corner and room have planned a really exiting Movie. Film festival for this is year just keeps getting better.

The Movie is based on a Slow motion montage, The name of this movie is called Slo mo. And some of the Ideas are smashing food through racket, blowing bubble gum and more this is the beginning !!!!


OK yeah im not in the movie but I am still a presenter I was supposed to be in it but being a presenter is just as good. The two main presenters are me and Sulieti.

I can't wait to present the movie although I am nervous But I am very keen.

Perimeter and Area

D.O.L : Hello bloggers today I have finished a presentation about perimeter and area. Basically perimeter means  measuring the distance around the edge of a shape. And Area means the distance inside the shape. here is what I have done in the past week. enjoy.

The Last Fun Run

That was a long run. If you guys have not already noticed last week on Friday we had a fun run or in other words it is called the cross country. last week was a lot of fun. For the fun run we had to prepare within the 6 weeks and it was a lot of hard work. We team 5 had to run 3 km, and after that I was really tired which means I really should trained for it. Although we had to sit and wait for a long time it was worth. Fun run is annual thing that happens in our school. We had to also raise money for school equipment. and the amount of money we raised led us to getting a prize from the booklet. This was my last fun run for the school and i Should have done better. Oh well !. Have you ever done a fun run, if not you should give it a go.

My week 4 experience

The Year eights are gone to the year 8 leadership. Although the year 8 students have gone and 10 year 8 student including me are here. including year sevens We have had a lot of fun over the past three days. I am in the group Fobalicious. There are three groups 
Fobalicious, Churrys and Munchies. My favorite station out of team building, truffle making and art will have to be team building. because the best teacher is there and we got to work as a team to build marshmallow tower and do cup stacking. It was a whole lot of fun. Maybe one of you guys can try the fun things we had done. Have a look below for some photos of what we did.

Place value Problem solving 598

DOL: Hello bloggers today I have done a maths problem and it is about place value and adding and subtracting decimals. It look pretty confusing but you will get the hang of it. On the right is the place value houses which actually helped me a lot with place value check it out.

My opinion on the year 7 and 8 team

This week the year 7 and 8 students had a normal week, We could not imagine how fast this week had past by. School is nearly over and the holidays are almost in. The Year 7 and 8 block is a amazing learning environment with almost up to 150 kids. We are a year 7 and 8 team with very talented kids. Year 7 and 8 is the time were you change your life and the are pretty much close to it. 

They have done amazing at being flexible and showing what awesome looks like. Year 7 and 8 has a lot of new and exiting things. Every day Is amazing in a this block and some of the reasons are making new connections helping others. Kids at year 7 and 8 start making there own minds up ether the bad way or the way that leads to more success. 

Teachers help kids learn and be on the right path the teachers have done just that. The year is going super fast and the seniors are almost at the end close to becoming a young adult. year 7 students have just started. 

The teachers have done good and I think it is time for the students to make us proud.
