My Olympic Games Narrative story

      Olympic Games

Have you heard have the Olympics? it is this year held in Rio de Janeiro it is in Brazil. Here is A little Narrative story.

“The Olympic Games are under away in Rio,” said the host. The Quarter finals Mixed with Men’s and Women's Mythical Gymnastics at the Rio Olympics 2016. “ And the Competitors are, JAMAICAN BOLT, Jamaica, Paul Stevens, Russian, Lucas Gustavo, Brazil”. “ And the Girls Lopez Loyd, American, Jennifer Brown, Australian. And Me the Host Anthony Point Jack”.

The athletes are ready, 10 min before something bad happend to some of the players. Loyd had some kind of poison in his sports drink, Lucas Gustavo had a tummy ache because he had some cockroaches in his tuna salad. All the others were spewing up except one person Paul Stevens. Paul Stevens Had done everything so he could win the gold medal. The Host did not know and the supporters were worried they might have not turned up.

After a time lapse of waiting a doctor had appeared in the stadium and had situated within the stadium. He had come down to the sideline with the other medics. The host said “ Would you guys be able to check up on the competitors?” The Medic said, “Sure why not” so they took off to the changing room. They  Had gone to the mens and womens changing and found the athletes lying on the ground holding their tummy. The medic quickly called the ambulance on 193 and while that happend the medic told the host about what had happend. The host said “ the games have been postponed till friday”, And then the host said, “ Be aware of Paul Stevens".

The athletes were in the hospital and were given medication to help the disease go away. It took them 3 days to get back in position and the games had carried on.

Hope you can make it to the Olympics one day. Also you will make it only if you believe in yourself.

Halloween By Mubashshir

Halloween all started at america in 1977. Do you Like Halloween well I do.

Halloween Is about celebrating and trick o treating. what I like about trick o treating is you get to collect the lollies. Did you know that Halloween is also about remembering the dead  In the past were it happend in America. When you go to the house to get your lollies try not to get all the lollies and also do not scare them that much.

Second rule is do not go without your parents to the Hallohouses. People must be with partners or with thier parent's or other wise your lollies can get stolen. When ever you are in the street's try not to be up till 10 pm or other wise you can get in trouble.

Keep watching for next year

successful pt englander

Are you successful ? Do you want to be successful If you do you need to be focused, you have to be able to improve what you did at the beginning of the term and you have to listen to the teacher or the adults.

first thing to be successful is you have to be able to improve what you did in the beginning of the term. An example is if you got a low mark at your writing test at the beginning of the term you have to improve what you did to make your score higher and higher. “Some tip’s if you can’t improve, practice writing a book or a chapter book it will get your confidence back.” Some people say if you improve more it is another way to be successful in the life.

Another way to be successful is being focused. If you are being focused you will make big  accomplishments in the subject you are not good at. An example is like me at the beginning of the term I was not that good at reading so what I did was go home and read books and my mum will ask me questions so they know if I am focused. And all of a sudden 1 month later I got a award for moving higher than my usual age I was 11 and a half when I was supposed to be on 10 and a half.

Last thing is listening to the teacher. If you listen to the teacher you will be rewarded with happiness  and joy making you life successful in the past. listening to the teacher will calm our pressure , listening  to the teacher will make us happy. If you listening  to the teacher you can sometimes get a award or a trophy at the end of the year.

Remember to do your best at the test and you will be successful in the life good luck.

Sun Safe.

Do you like to go out when it is sunny ? If you do like going out in the sun you have to wear a hat you also need to put some sunblock on to protect your body and need body protection.

First thing you need to stay safe in summer is a covered body.To have a covered body you need short’s  a shirt and sunblock. If you have these thing you won’t get sunburnt or cancer. Some example’s, if you want to sit down and relax you need a umbrella to cover the sun. You also need a mat and sunblock on so you stay safe when at the beach.

Another way you can stay safe in summer is by wearing a hat. The recommended hat I will prefer is a bowl hat because it block’s from every side It block’s you nose, your ears, and your whole face. Example is if you are wearing a cap your face is showing. So what happens is the sun reflects to your face and you get sunburnt or cancer. So it is important to where a bowl sun hat.

Sunblock is important because it blocks the sun from hitting our skin. Sunblock can go out quickly so you need to put it on again. An idea, if you want to swim in the calm

water you need to have sunblock, not any sunblock waterproof sunblock because the normal one washes away. Also you can’t wear a hat in the water.

If you follow the rules you won’t get cancer or sunburnt. You can also stay safe.

the 2015 Cricket World Cup will be the 11th Cricket World Cup,[2] scheduled to be jointly held by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015. 49 matches will be played in 14 venues with Australia staging 26 games at grounds in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney while New Zealand hosts 23 games in seven cities, including Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson and Wellington.[3] The final match of the tournament will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. It will be one of the world's largest international sports tournaments, with 14 competing teams and more than 400 accredited players and officials taking part in it.[4]
The hosting rights were awarded at the same time as those of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, which Australia and New Zealand had originally bid to host, and the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, which was awarded to England.[5] The 2011 tournament was awarded to the four Asian Test cricket playing countries, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, in a 10 to 3 vote (Pakistan later lost the co-hosting rights due to a terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team). The International Cricket Council were sufficiently impressed with the Tasman bid that it was decided to award the next World Cup to Australia and New Zealand.[6][7] This is the second time that the tournament will be held in Australia and New Zealand, with the first being the 1992 Cricket World Cup.
India are the best champions, having won the tournament in 2011 when it was held in the Indian Subcontinent, defeating Sri Lanka in the finals.

The high bar story

mubashshir's gymnastics from Team 4 Pes on Vimeo.

I have learnt that gymnasts need to  have heap's of grip so they can keep doing splits and swings. Elena POSEVINA is a high bar champion. She has come first in every high bar competion since 2010.  She is one of  the best competitors. Elena POSEVINA has won two gold medals in the commonwealth games in 2012 & 2010

The technique of how to compete in the high bar is below. I found on the Commonwealth Games website. Have a read to find out how hard it is!
To compete in the high bar the gymnast begins in a upside down position. With legs and toes joined together and body fully straight and still. The upper body is still  very slightly until the gymnast passes through the horizontal bar.  Your muscles are tight and your elbow is bent . Last step is push your body forwards and bend your body as well.

badminton recount story

"Line up at the door!" shouted Mrs Jacobsen "we are going to Badminton."

"WOW!" I said. Every Thursday my maths class and I have been learning all about badminton. We have been going for the last 2 weeks. We learnt 2 different serves like forehand and backhand grips.
Backhand grip is when your fingers and your thumb are facing you. What is  forehand? Forehand is when your hands are facing away from you like you are shaking  hands but with your racket.

Our coaches Danny and Robby are from Auckland Badminton.   I learnt how to play around the world with rackets in the badminton version. Around the world is when we are in a big line and our coaches hit the shuttle to us one at a time then we have to hit it back to them and run to the back of the line. I learnt to play by listening and following the instructions.

Some of the rules that you have to follow to play badminton are, no playing with the strings on the racket, respect the coaches, no banging rackets on the floor, no breaking shuttles and always have fun.

Learning about badminton has been the best experience ever. What I expect next time  is we should have badminton for 10 weeks. The part I enjoyed the most is playing badminton and having fun with my classmates. I especially liked having fun with  my  coach he was really cool. I had heaps of fun and can't wait until our next lesson.
