My Holiday #1

Holidays are on of the best best brakes from school to hangout with family and friends. My holidays out of 1 to ten would I would give it a 8. What I did in the holidays was I had gone with my family to Palmerston North with my family for at least 3 to 5 days to visit our family's, and it was a fun time. I got to meet my family and thats what I liked about the first week of the holiday's. And then the second week was just a normal week other than my hair getting shaved off. the second week was more of a normal week as I said  

BUT NOW THE HOLIDAY'S are over and some of the things I am looking forward to is the Year 8 leadership camp and something I am also look forward to is tackling down more knowledge and also sport . My Goal this term is to get better at my reading and English because for some reason I have lacked out of confidence 

This morning I woke up and came to school and we had our whole school immersion assembly. And this terms topic is NOW THAT'S THINKING. And the definition for that is " What Can you design , build or create or even change to improve Pt England School.

And this is something I want to look Towards to ! :)

Barcelona camp is going to be Exciting because you get to train with the pros like Messi, Neymar , Suarez and Many more. I am really lucky to meet these player at Barcelona camp for 2 whole weeks in the upcoming school Holidays. Neymar:

Neymar is a very talented man. He was Born on February 5th, 1992, in São Paulo, Brazil, Neymar grabbed attention from all his spectators and for his impressive soccer abilities at an early age of 19 years old. He started off with street football and indoor futsal. He Appeared as a star for Santos FC as a young teenager, winning four straight Player of the Year awards WOW !!! . And Neymar also became one of Brazil's most popular Playing figures. In May 2013, the Brazilian announced his move to Europe to play for the best BBVA club ever Spanish FC Barcelona.

MESSI : Born on June 24, 1987, in Rosario, Argentina, soccer player Lionel Messi had made a move to Spain at the age of 13. Messi became a star in his new country Argentina, scoring a bunch of goals while leading his club to championships. In 2012, he set a record for most goals in a whole calendar year, and after wards was named FIFA's "Player of the Year" a record fifth time. He really is the greatest player of all time.

Suarez : Luis Suarez Star striker for the Uruguayan national team who played for Ajax and Liverpool before joining FC Barcelona in 2014. He gained a lot of press after biting Italian defender on the shoulder in Uruguay's third match of the 2014 World Cup. He was then suspended nine international games and banned from soccer activities for four months.

My Amazing superhero writing

WALT:  write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words.

If I had super powers  it will have to be speed because whenever I play my favourite sport soccer Without killing them I can just zoom through them that they won’t even notice I have just scored a goal. If I was late to school and only have 4 minutes left i can just zoom through the road, up the hill and through the gate without being tired and have my breakfast on the way. I think super speed is super cool so i can beat usain bolt and be in the movie flash.  

My speed  capability would feel like I have just come out of the galaxy . Speed capability would look like a Thunder striking on the rock bottom ground.  My super powers is speed whenever you're late to your game dash hard out and you will be there by 1 min.

I would use my super capability to save people's  life when death strikes like a earthquake or a tornado,it will be my job to look after New Zealand. If i had my speed capability i will use them on villains and burning house to get people to shelter as instantly as possible. “I will save New Zealand!!”.

Discription:

Today we learnt how to write effective paragraph's using juicy word's. Me and my class had to write about our favourite super power's, my favourite super power was speed I chose speed because it is fun and cool. At the end of our writing session we had to partner up my partner is Omari then what we did each others and was read each others writing , after that we had been given a rubric witch is on the top we had to mark each others.

Super Mario World - Writing

Intro:  “Mario is a old 1985 arcade game that was the most populous of all times they also made different versions of it”. “Some of the mario versions are super Mario world, “Mario is so famous Nintendo and game boy club have even brought it to their own gaming world”. check out Mario gaming it is a fun game to play”.

Aim:  The Aim of  the game is to survive all the levels, and dodge the evil Mushroom monsters. Every time you touch a little square mystery box a white red-dotted mushroom will fall down, and every time you collect the mushroom your Mario will double in size. Sometimes if you see a yellow happy star, collect it and it because it is required to complete the level. If you touch the  Mushroom monster you will die, and you will have to repeat the same level over and over again till you get it.

Mario:  Mario is a little guy in different Mario game versions, he has a red hat with a extra white dot and a M on his hat. He also wears a blue all in one overall, he has Blue glimmering eyes And A big black must ache but he is quite short. He is from Italy. Mario is the little guy who goes on a  adventure to fight evil Mushroom monsters on each level.  

Controls:  How you play super Mario world.  Arrows :  right arrow is to move forward, top arrow is to jump up. Also P is for pause, M is for mute, Ctrl q is to quit the game. To kill the Evil Mushroom Monsters, is when they come towards you you  just click the top arrow and jump on top of them. Advice: Kill the Enemies by jumping on them so it is easier to get the mushrooms from the mystery box .

Conclusion:  I think super Mario world is for everyone to play anywhere any time.”I recommend this game for everyone to play at home”. For the first half and hour you will be

so addicted to it you will want to play everyday, it is a cool game and it is very interactive go online and check it out the cool game.

Today we learnt how to write a effective paragraph with in 3 minutes. To write a effective paragraph you need to have punctuation checked, 3 to 4 sentences in each paragraph and also check cap lock.

Immersion Assembly Term 2

First my class and I sat down in the hall and then a pretend helicopter was being Flied by Issa salli one of the prefects it had to have a lot of space. And Also the teachers and prefects started handing out yummy treats like a ham sandwich and carrot sticks. We had been waiting for ages it was fun

After a wild Mr Burt called the 2 Nd item up it was team 2 item about Winnie the pooh. Team 2 had a little movie about Winnie and Tiger making donkey a little shelter house once Winnie the pooh had made the shelter they called donkey and showed it to him, he really liked his new shelter. After the movie had finished the team 2 teachers had come up to the stage and made donkey the same house.

After All the other team items Mr Barks came up and started talking about Hover boards. He talked for a long long time till he introduced his own minion hover board. After a 5 minutes He called up Mr Somerville to come and try it since he really wanted to fly so he sat him on the minions face and got a leaf blower and put in a whole and off the hero went zooming through the stage.

I think our new school topic is interesting, Tinkering tools &  toys. I think Tinkering tools & toys is fun. It looks interesting and cool.
