Term 4 Immersion Assembly

My Last Immersion Assembly

My Last Immersion Assembly, 32 Immersion Assembly's  which I have attended in Pt England School. An My last one was today. And I have to say today's one would have to be the best cause this is one I would never forget. A Bit of an insight of what  a immersion assembly is. The Immersion Assembly is a is a way to start off the terms. It is also a way to interest the students about this term. 

Three of my favourites would  have to be team 3, 4 and 5. Well probably because it more Mature for year 7 & 8 students. I Liked team 3's item because It was funny, had good acting and was a lot of fun to watch. Team 4 for me was  a like any other item, but was more fun to watch. Team 4's Item was a carpool karaoke and was super funny, It was based on music changing their mood. The last one of my favourite is team 5's because team 5 teachers are the best. Team 5's item was based on how different types of songs can change the way a movie scene is. So those are my favourite items. I am really looking forward to this term and what it has to give.

The Last Fun Run

That was a long run. If you guys have not already noticed last week on Friday we had a fun run or in other words it is called the cross country. last week was a lot of fun. For the fun run we had to prepare within the 6 weeks and it was a lot of hard work. We team 5 had to run 3 km, and after that I was really tired which means I really should trained for it. Although we had to sit and wait for a long time it was worth. Fun run is annual thing that happens in our school. We had to also raise money for school equipment. and the amount of money we raised led us to getting a prize from the booklet. This was my last fun run for the school and i Should have done better. Oh well !. Have you ever done a fun run, if not you should give it a go.

1st point : provide shelter to the needy with a bunch of supplies that will last years

2nd point : Take the pollution level down as well as bill depts.

3rd point : Try and make the world a better place.

Conclusion Sum my speech all up.

Writing :

Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be a president for a day ? I know I have always dreamed of being a president. This is what I would do.

If I were a president for a day, the first thing I would do is provide shelter to the homeless.

After all, I am only president for one day and, there is so much I want to do, but not enough time to do it. The homeless don’t even have enough shelter, or any supplies like food and blankets.

I can only imagine what their life would be like as a homeless person. We all are super lucky to be in a very healthy environment, but did you ever think about others? I always think to myself, what would happen to the homeless people, that have no shelter or food provided for them. That is something I’ve always wanted to do for those who are homeless.

 

My second big move while President for a day would be about taking the pollution level down. Even if it’s just by a bit - so we stop breathing in this toxic waste coming from all the cars on the roads as well

Taking the pollution down will mean that less trees will be harmed, which also means less humans will die. The earth will be a safer and healthier place. It is a big job, especially when there is a lot of pollution around us.

The only reason why I would take the pollution down, is because I want the world to be a Pollution free place. Also the animals can have a longer life.

The third thing I would do is make the world a better place. This is my

one and only opportunity, that would only come one day.

People should never say everything is impossible. They are never impossible, that's why you should never give up. It is a dream to make earth the best planet in our solar system.

The earth is the best place. But I’ve always wondered, How can you make a peaceful place.

So this is what I would do if I were a president for a day. What would you do to make the world A better place ? Thank you. THE END.

Today our class is focusing on our Key Competencies. Our aim was to stay on task and see how much progress we make for reading and writing in one morning block. This should set the standard for how much work we complete each time we have literacy. I am showing how much progress i have mad in 1 hour. And also to see if I have done any work.

My week 4 experience

The Year eights are gone to the year 8 leadership. Although the year 8 students have gone and 10 year 8 student including me are here. including year sevens We have had a lot of fun over the past three days. I am in the group Fobalicious. There are three groups 
Fobalicious, Churrys and Munchies. My favorite station out of team building, truffle making and art will have to be team building. because the best teacher is there and we got to work as a team to build marshmallow tower and do cup stacking. It was a whole lot of fun. Maybe one of you guys can try the fun things we had done. Have a look below for some photos of what we did.
