This term we have been learning about art attack. We were lucky enough to go to the Art Gallery We looked at different art and different artist and how they used to paint in the olden days. We learnt a lot about painting.

Did you know that the next day when I came to school I thought I will make a movie about the Art Gallery trip so what I did was get two more friend’s their names where Junoir and Cyrus

so what we did was go on a imac and put and put a lot of photos on the i movie because we have a good song maker  we went on garageband and made a beat.

Did you know last Friday we went to the Art Gallery. When got to the Art Gallery The first activity we did was going up to the Lego area The Lego was like A big building people were scared they might brake the lego. After a wild we went into the technology room we could build with shapes and heir wired sound.


After we had lunch We went to A art station. In the art station there was 5 tables. In the tabels was a
printed out jar. So what we had to do was listen to the old lady and she said we need to fill and draw the jar what would you Christmas would Or you could draw you favourite place.

Did you know that last week on Friday we went to the Art Gallery ! The Art Gallery Has A lot of paintings.

When we left at 8.50 The bus was waiting. When we got to the Art Gallery  we sat down on the floor But the was a problem we came a little early so we waited until a Staff came to open the door. The first place we went was up stairs to the city Lego It is big like a building everybody Was scared they might break the Lego. It took along time to make Lego.

The second  thing we did was going to the Technology room in the technology room there was shadows of what we were doing we could also build with shapes and here the weird sounds.

We did not have much to do but it was already Morning tea time so all of the Year 5 kid’s had morning tea then we went to search for the Victorian era status we had a lot of time We even had lunch and did more activities until we had to return so we sat in the bus and we still had a good time.

Halloween all started at america in 1977. Do you Like Halloween well I do.

Halloween Is about celebrating and trick o treating. what I like about trick o treating is you get to collect the lollies. Did you know that Halloween is also about remembering the dead  In the past were it happend in America. When you go to the house to get your lollies try not to get all the lollies and also do not scare them that much.

Second rule is do not go without your parents to the Hallohouses. People must be with partners or with thier parent's or other wise your lollies can get stolen. When ever you are in the street's try not to be up till 10 pm or other wise you can get in trouble.

Are you successful ? Do you want to be successful If you do you need to be focused, you have to be able to improve what you did at the beginning of the term and you have to listen to the teacher or the adults.

first thing to be successful is you have to be able to improve what you did in the beginning of the term. An example is if you got a low mark at your writing test at the beginning of the term you have to improve what you did to make your score higher and higher. “Some tip’s if you can’t improve, practice writing a book or a chapter book it will get your confidence back.” Some people say if you improve more it is another way to be successful in the life.

Another way to be successful is being focused. If you are being focused you will make big  accomplishments in the subject you are not good at. An example is like me at the beginning of the term I was not that good at reading so what I did was go home and read books and my mum will ask me questions so they know if I am focused. And all of a sudden 1 month later I got a award for moving higher than my usual age I was 11 and a half when I was supposed to be on 10 and a half.

Last thing is listening to the teacher. If you listen to the teacher you will be rewarded with happiness  and joy making you life successful in the past. listening to the teacher will calm our pressure , listening  to the teacher will make us happy. If you listening  to the teacher you can sometimes get a award or a trophy at the end of the year.

Remember to do your best at the test and you will be successful in the life good luck.

Sun Safe.

Do you like to go out when it is sunny ? If you do like going out in the sun you have to wear a hat you also need to put some sunblock on to protect your body and need body protection.

First thing you need to stay safe in summer is a covered body.To have a covered body you need short’s  a shirt and sunblock. If you have these thing you won’t get sunburnt or cancer. Some example’s, if you want to sit down and relax you need a umbrella to cover the sun. You also need a mat and sunblock on so you stay safe when at the beach.

Another way you can stay safe in summer is by wearing a hat. The recommended hat I will prefer is a bowl hat because it block’s from every side It block’s you nose, your ears, and your whole face. Example is if you are wearing a cap your face is showing. So what happens is the sun reflects to your face and you get sunburnt or cancer. So it is important to where a bowl sun hat.

Sunblock is important because it blocks the sun from hitting our skin. Sunblock can go out quickly so you need to put it on again. An idea, if you want to swim in the calm

water you need to have sunblock, not any sunblock waterproof sunblock because the normal one washes away. Also you can’t wear a hat in the water.

If you follow the rules you won’t get cancer or sunburnt. You can also stay safe.

It will be one of the world's largest international sports tournaments, with 14 competing teams and more than 400 accredited players and officials taking part in it.^[4]

The hosting rights were awarded at the same time as those of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, which Australia and New Zealand had originally bid to host, and the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, which was awarded to England.^[5] The 2011 tournament was awarded to the four Asian Test cricket playing countries, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, in a 10 to 3 vote (Pakistan later lost the co-hosting rights due to a terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team). I fell  off a  hill  I  yelled  when  I fell  down  It it was   near hamilton   farm

ouch! “as my collar bone broke when i fell off a big hill.”After 1 minute 3 adults came and put me in the van and my dad took me to the hospital. After waiting a long time in the waiting room  they called me in .

A wild later  they said my collar bone is broken they did  x-ray at saint lukes because the power was off at ascot hospital. They said  if not healed in 6 weeks they will do a surgery and insert a plate.  I am so scared.

DId you  KNow I am scared  of surgery because i think i might get a heart attack.

museum trip

Did you know we went to the museum last week  it was cool we got to get welcomed to the museum . Did you know we got to explore the whole museum. The cool part is when we get to go in the earthquake house and the house shake's here is some fact's about the museum Auckland War Memorial Museum stands on the hill known by Māori as Pukekawa.

It has occupied this site since 1929 when subscriptions raised by Aucklanders in remembrance of their war dead and enabled the construction of what is considered one of New Zealand’'s finest heritage buildings.

To this day, Auckland War Memorial Museum is a touchstone of remembrance for families and returned service personnel who wish to honour their loved ones and fallen comrades.  

 1929, Auckland Museum occupied premises in central Auckland, beginning life in a two-room farm cottage in the suburb of Grafton.  With one room for the Museum’'s fledgling collections and one room for the curator, New Zealand’'s first Museum soon outgrew this site, relocating to what was the Provincial Council Building in 1867 before moving once again to the old Post Office building in Princes Street three years later.

The Museum'’s first custom-built premises, to which it moved in 1876, were just along the road on Princes Street.  Under the guidance of the visionary curator, Thomas Cheeseman, the Museum and its collections flourished, necessitating a further move and the commissioning of a world-wide architectural competition to design a new Museum for Auckland which would be combined with a war memorial to commemorate soldiers lost in World War I.

Richie McCaw is the man with the ball as he sprints over from the lineout heading towards the post. Brilliant goal ending the game with Savea putting the kick through the rugby post

term 3 commonwealth games event ( volley soccer)

This sport is my made up event it is called volley soccer it includes volleyball and soccer.

way to play the game is when you run to the ball and kick it have a look. Also the rules are no pushing and no fighting. The equipment needed are black short,volleyball and a  football goal  and soccer boot  if you want.

To score a goal you have to throw or kick the ball in the hoop to get points for your team here is a made up sport from me.

Harry Potter book review

The book is about when Harry Potter is due to start his fifth year at hog warts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He is desperate to get back to school and find out why his friends ron and Hermione have been so secretive all summer long.


I like this because it never ends , it is fun. There are books, movies, and acting.
I like all the parts of harry potter book. I liked when harry finds out what was the secret.

I recommend this book for smart people and people who like witches or magic.

fifa 14 world cup chapter 2

Welcome back to fifa  14 world  as in chapter one I told you some of the teams. today Argentina and Switzerland are playing.  "After a wild angel di maria had the ball and passes it to messi runs and runs till he passes it to gonzalo higuain and he shoots and misses." After a 45 minutes it was half time then they had a drink or a  snack." After 10 mins the 2 half began switzerland had the ball they kicked it and missed. After a wild Argentina was in the lead  messi scored a goal ! but it was full time and 10 mins before second half Argentina stretched.

samoa narrative

Samoa Narrative writing

One day me and my dumb old boring  brothers john cena and max were deciding  to go to samoa . “So when we booked the flight air new zealand airbus a320 it was a lot of money”. 4 days later we were departing to the airport gates.

After 5 hours we got to samoa and stayed at a  hotel called tanoa tusitala  hotel in apia.  On the next day john cena  and max decided to go hunt for some food in apia .

After 45 minute’s we got to the rainforest.

“ After 10 minutes we found our self in a tropical garden where all the cocoa pods were, So max collected the cocoa pods  and took them to the hotel. he collected about 10 to 15 pods.

“After A wild jhon cena and max put us in so much trouble They took a map  and lost it so basically it was all john  cena  the mental and dumb one and max the trouble maker’s fault.  

In the daytime I told john cena the the guy who is mental to not punch furniture  in samoa but he punched the trees but he was to week. I got a chainsaw  and  started cutting and we got to the hotel at 7.00 pm.

I thought my brothers were not going to hunt but after all they really did  embarrass me but I was proud.
